This Starcraft 2 Zerg v Terran strategy will equip you with the basics that you need to start pwning the nasty Terran.For many Zerg players, a face off versus the Terrans strikes fear into their hearts. And with good reason too, for their heavy mech units that consist of hellions, thors and siege tanks are a nightmare to contend with. However, don't despair give up. There is an answer to everything the Terran can throw at you, so long as you are organized. The Terran hellions are one of the most fearsome units you will face, as they are capable of tearing your zerglings to pieces; they will smash your queens and fry your drones. The hellion can be truly devastating early on if it is not contained.In order to stop them, we will need a plan, and there are two things you need to do. First of all, get yourself a spine crawler and position it next to each of your hatcheries (just one for each is enough). Now, you will need to get some roaches as well, probably three of them will be plenty. The roach is a great weapon to fight off the hellion with, while the spine crawlers can prevent the hellions from running away from the roaches. The hellion will be left unable to run circles around the roaches like they can do in open combat, as between the roaches and the spine crawlers all of your base is covered. When he realizes this, the enemy will have no choice but to withdraw his attack or else be destroyed.The next thing your opponent is likely to do, upon being faced down by your roaches and spine crawlers, is he will attempt a combination of marines, marauders and tanks. This can work out to be advantageous for you as this is an overwhelmingly anti-ground force. To counter this, all you need to do is construct some mutalisk units. For every three marines the Terrans have, you will need one mutalisk to combat them. If your opponent has too many marines, what you can do instead is build an infestor. Infestors are able to use their fungal growth ability, and this can deal damage of 36 points in just 8 seconds. A marine facing this onslaught will be obliterated easily. And because the enemy will often clump his marines together, it is possible to take out an entire squadron of them with just one fungal growth. All you have to do them is swoop down on the injured units with a few of your mutalisks and finish them off at your leisure, before turning your attention to the siege tanks and marauders, who you can snipe away relatively safely.The best time to perform this strategy is before the opposing marines get too near your home base. You can do this to perfection by burrowing your infestor and then catch him by surprise by emerging at the last possible second. So long as you are quick enough, this strategy is highly effective.Now that you have held off his attacks, you will want to go for your opponent's throat and win the game. It might seem like an insurmountable task if he has locked his base down with thors and siege tanks, but it isn't.So long as you have a nice economy going, you can a mass a large force of brood lords and bide your time. Wait and see what he does. If he goes for your expansion, hit back and defeat his forces. If he uses a large force, you are in luck. Your brood lords will make very short work of the Terran mech units, as well as their missiles. Use them to smash his defenses and launch a raid on his own base. Should your enemy have Vikings to respond to your brood lords, you can use mutalisks or build some corruptors to take them out. Hope this helps and leave a comment if you LIKE!!!!!
